Reminds me a lot of another quote ...
"for the eye to 'see' it must first be washed by the blood of the heart"
Alas I can't remember who wrote that one ... possibly a Theosophist like Alice Bailey, Dane Rudhyar, or the very cool Russian, Helena Blavatsky. The quote refers to the only way a person can develop real wisdom and compassion. Heavy eh.
